I had the noodle in a rainy day. It is a good comfort food to warm up the cold from the out door rain. The restaurant gave a lot of meat and the soup is warm and hearty. The noodle soup can be spicy and I order mild which was just right. The restaurant is not busy and allow people to sit for hours. The girl in the next table sitting by herself watch a whole TV drama there.

TL;DR: Amazing local & authentic restaurant. You can't go wrong with any dish! I've lived in Flushing for close to 8 years now and this is literally my favorite restaurant here. Pre-pandemic, I visited at least 1x/week and most recently, 3x/week. This place is so underrated, unassuming and almost hidden and deserves a lot more reviews than it receives, but most of that is probably due to their audience. I, myself, am guilty of waiting this long before reviewing, but as someone who doesn't normally write many reviews, I had to give this place the love that it deserves, even more so because of the hard-working and kind people that work there. With the neighborhood changing from mom-and-pop to high-end restaurants year after year, it's nice to find a restaurant that still focuses their attention on the food without charging ridiculous pricing, especially during these times of inflation and rising food costs. It may not be the fanciest looking restaurant or one where you would host a celebration, but of all the times I've invited my family or friends here, they have always always ALWAYS come back themselves. It is by no means a hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant either. When you do visit, "Spicy Oil Split Noodle" is hands down the most delicious noodle dish I've ever had and I love noodles; can't go wrong with a dish that has a bunch of garlic! Even after all these years here, I'm still finding new dishes that never fail to amaze me. If you've read this far, you might as well try it yourself and chances are, you'll find me there later in the evening. You can thank me with a beer in person (they're only $3...right!?) See you soon!
Stoped here for a late night meal. Are the sEzuan beef and it was wonderful. Large portions and perfect spice and heat.
Friends suggested this is a pretty good to try some Sichuan kinda of food.Been there around 1am and there are very few people so it dint get hard to grab a table. Came here because my friend was craving Henan food. I not very familiar with the cuisine, so my friend took the lead ordering some specialities from the region. Ended up discovering some new favorite dishes. 烩面 (handpull noodle lamb soup) - Apparently 烩面 (translating to "braised noodles") is a speciality of Henan, though you wouldn't get that from the bland English translation of lamb noodle soup. The version here seemed fine but not standout. 豆角肉卤面 (steam noodles w. string bean & pork) - The noodles come served in a steamer with green beans and meat mixed in. It's pretty tasty and apparently another signature dish of Henan. I hadn't seen this dish before I tried it here, so would recommend trying it! 擀面皮 (handmade cold noodle) - My favorite dish of the night. It reminds me a lot of LiangPi, sliced more thinly, tossed with lots of cucumbers and bean sprouts. I honestly don't know what's the difference between this and liang pi, but both are delicious. 臭豆腐 (fried stinky tofu) - In my opinion, the rendition wasn't anything special, just stinky tofu in a sauce. 涮牛肚 (tripe) - Skewers of beef tripe that have been cooked by briefly scalding in hot water. It's served with a sauce and I found it to be pretty tasty.
